Our client is a Bronx healthcare system with value-based system serving a diverse patient base.

It's also an academically-oriented 911 Receiving Emergency Department, Level I Trauma and NY State Stroke Center that sees approximately 100,000 visits per year. They practice an evidence-based model of medicine in a Just Culture environment

The ideal candidate should have very strong ED Nursing experience, with knowledge of CMS / EMTALA and Joint Commission will be a big plus. They will not have any Critical Care Unit responsibility, but will have 2 Nurse Managers, an ED Educator and 6 Senior RNs as their front-line team.

Plus, the CNO is a Critical Care and ED expert - nice to have someone at the top who really gets it!
