EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PLACEMENT SPECIALIST - Brown & Brown Insurance : Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Employee Benefits Placement Specialist to join our team in Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will manage the placement and administration of employee benefits programs for our clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their employees, ensuring a seamless benefits experience.

How You Will Contribute

• To receive, analyze, prepare, and present information for new business to insurance companies for regular personal accounts.
• To oversee that quotes and proposals are properly executed and assist in the process.
• To attend insurance company meetings for public relations purposes.
• To maintain a satisfactory working relationship with underwriters, brokers, special agents and other company personnel.
• To provide quality control check of risk management recommendations made by company.
• To qualify each account submitted in accordance with both our agency standards and those of the companies we represent.
• To ensure that the workload is completed within the expected time frame in accordance with agency guidelines.
• Understand the role of automation in our agency and maximize utilization of its' capability for customer service and marketing activities.
• To perform other duties upon management's request

Skills & Experience to Be Successful

• High School degree
• Exceptional telephone demeanor
• At least 2 years of insurance experience
• Active Life & Health License

Pay Range

• Annual pay to be $50-60k to be paid on an hourly basis
