BRF maintains its headquarters and a manufacturing facility in Macedon, New York; with a Culinary Innovation Center in Westmont, Illinois; and offices and manufacturing facilities in Williamson, New York; Pennsauken, New Jersey; and Corona, California. This role will be based in Macedon, NY with weekly on site presence in Williamson, NY.WHAT WE NEED The Employee Experience Coordinator is responsible for supporting and administering enterprise employee engagement activities, including, but not limited to employee recognition and award programs, employee events, events with community partners, annual employee engagement survey, and employee groups such as BRF Cultural Ambassadors and Employee Engagement Committee. This role would also serve as first point of contact for employees seeking support from the BRF People Team. This role will require you to spend time in both our Macedon and Williamson, NY locations. The role will also work closely with team members in our NJ, IL, and CA locations to ensure the successful completion of enterprise employee engagement activities. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Coordinate and administer employee recognition programs and employee engagement such as anniversary awards, monthly birthday recognitions, holiday events, peer to peer recognition programs, employee appreciation day and manufacturing week celebrations.
- Support BRF's Mission, Vision, and CARE values in ways that strengthen our culture of belonging.
- Coordinate community-focused events and activities, such as for Volunteer Month and holiday Adopt-A-Family program, in NY and across the BRF enterprise.
- Support the Volunteer Time Off program for employees.
- Serve as chair on the Employee Engagement Committee and Cultural Ambassador group and provide support for the development and delivery of employee-centric focused groups.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employees coming to the People Team areas with questions to ensure they have a positive experience and are assisted in a timely manner. Use every opportunity and interaction to drive our inclusive culture and improve employee experience.
- Support the administration of employee engagement surveys during new hire onboarding and on an annual basis.
- Fill in at reception in Macedon or Williamson as required, primarily for vacation coverage.
- Weekly travel to our Williamson facility is required.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- HS Diploma required and at least 2-3 years of experience in event/outreach coordination, or Human Resources role.
- Associate degree (A.A. /A.S.) in business, human resources, or related field preferred.
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently or as part of a cross functional team across multiple locations.
- Strong organization, prioritization and execution skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make decisions that balance short term needs and long term goals.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
- Knowledge of ADP, Canva and Survey Monkey is a plus.
- Due to SQF regulations, all employees must be able to fluently read, write, and converse in the English language.
At BRF, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $25-$27/hour. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
