Employee Relations Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal standards. Key Responsibilities:

• File Audits: Regularly review personnel files to ensure they meet internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Disciplinary Review: Assess and provide feedback on disciplinary actions to ensure they adhere to best practices and legal requirements.
• Injury Follow-Up: Review reports on employee injuries and follow up as needed to ensure compliance and address any issues.
• Conduct Investigations: Carry out comprehensive and impartial investigations into employee concerns, summarize outcomes, and offer well-founded recommendations.
• Guidance on Employee Relations: Offer expert advice and support to HR Managers on employee relations best practices.
• Exit Interviews: Facilitate exit interviews and gather insights to enhance employee retention strategies.
• Metrics Development: Create and share metrics related to employee relations to monitor trends and identify areas for improvement.
• Additional Responsibilities: Take on other duties as assigned to support the overall effectiveness of the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in an HR Generalist or Employee Relations Specialist role, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems.
• Human Resources certification (SPHR or HRCI) is strongly preferred.

Base Salary: $70k-$85k DOE

Location: onsite in Albuquerque, NM
