Insight Global is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join a healthcare client of ours in Berkeley, CA. The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. This role involves working closely with management and staff to promote a culture of mutual respect and collaboration.Key Responsibilities:- Act as a point of contact for employees to address concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.- Mediate disputes between employees and/or management to resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.- Ensure company policies are consistently applied and adhered to across the organization.- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints and allegations of misconduct.- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure company practices are compliant.- Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases and outcomes.- Promote initiatives that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Employee Relations role, or equivalent- Strong familiarity with California laws and regulations, specifically within the workspace- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.- Ability to be onsite 5x per week out of Berkeley, CA
