Position initiates and sustains relationships with communityemployers. Position markets Goodwill Employment Services, conducts job/task analysis, and maintains participant records. Maintains database of employers, company contacts and outcomes achieved. Provides vocational counseling, placement planning and implements employment plans. Maintains relationships with funding sources.What will you do in this job?
- Complete intake interview of individuals enrolled for services, including development of person centered plan, database entry and filing of all required documentation.
- Assist clients in job search and employment acquisition activities to include: creating, updating, and sending resumes to prospective employers and interview coaching.
- Follow up with and document all client/employer contacts to review interview outcomes; may attend interviews as appropriate.
- Assess client proficiency on the job with observation and feedback from client, employer and third party advocates (as appropriate).
- Provide task analysis, job coaching, and retention activities as required to strengthen client employment success.
- Initiate and document meetings with clients to evaluate/discuss progress and determine interventions as necessary. Client meeting/contact must follow timelines as prescribed by your assignment.
- Deliver client support and service in a person-centered manner focused on respecting the dignity, work, unique qualities and strengths of each. This approach to include attentive listening and coaching in a predictably consistent, kind, clear manner.
- Cultivate employer networks/relationships through cold calling/prospecting, study of the local labor market, resource sharing with the employment services team, and participation in community events to identify and create placement opportunities for clients.
- Meet with service funders to discuss referrals, assess the match between client and services available, provide input on referral acceptance/denial and sign plan.
- Monitor and complete recordkeeping tasks in an accurate, detailed and timely manner following agency protocols to include but not limited to client interaction case noting, client intake documents, monthly billing documentation, employer prospecting logs, funder communication, First Day Guides etc.
- Write and submit work plans and updates to your supervisor as requested
Compensation and BenefitsStarting rate: $23.00 per hour followed by eligibility for annual performance-based increases with maximum pay of $26.77 per hour. Highest pay as a result of ongoing good performance and years of service.

Enrollment eligibility following one year of service and have worked 1,000 hours in the first year or any calendar year thereafter, or 500-1000 hours each year for three consecutive years.
