Position: Employment Specialist. Community Support Program (CSP) Division. This is a full-time (37.5 hours) benefit eligible position focusing on building and strengthening vocational services and opportunities. This person will work in coordination with the WCMHS CSP treatment teams, HireAbility, and AHS funded employment specialists. As part of the agency vocational team, this position interfaces with community members and employers to promote vocational opportunities for consumers within the program.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:- Working as part of the agency supported-employment treatment team
- Coordinate and facilitate consumers' placement into competitive community based, flexible employment.
- Will work with a caseload of CSP consumers who express an interest in employment
- Will attend appropriate team meetings and engage in activities with consumers and agency staff that promote integration of supported employment within this system
- Provide assessment, job development, benefits counseling, and follow-up services to a flexible caseload of consumers
- A community-based position that involves contact with local employers, community members and other relevant service providers
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, or related field.
- 2 years' experience in human services.
- Other combinations of work experience and education will be considered.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to work as a team player.
- Must have a clean driving record and access to a safe, reliable and insured vehicle.
- Ability to move around an office environment with or without accommodations.
- Able to drive in a community setting without accommodations.
- Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits: This full-time position offers an hourly rate of $19.66/hr. (37.5 hours) and excellent benefits, including tuition reimbursement/student loan assistance; generous paid time off; employer-sponsored health, dental, life, and disability insurances; and a 403(b)-retirement plan with employer match.
