EMS Dispatcher PRN, Transport Service, As Needed - Norton Healthcare : Job Details

The EMS Dispatcher is responsible for answering all emergency calls and dispatching the appropriate ambulances and other agencies in a timely fashion. This includes logging all radio traffic for dispatch, enroute, on-scene, to the hospital, at the hospital and available times into the CAD system. All necessary radio traffic is managed in a timely manner and documented in the CAD system. The EMS Dispatcher reviews EPCR's that are turned in to make sure all needed information is in place for billing information.

Required:

• Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) certificate, or able to obtain within 1 year of hire.

Desired:

• High School Diploma or GED
