Summary: This position independently performs advanced neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEG and Long-Term Video EEG monitoring procedures in all settings (ACS, ED, critical care, neonatal ICU. Neurodiagnostic procedures, including patient interaction, safety, and appropriate system settings, are tailored to the individual patient's needs, the reason for the referral, and medical history. Competent technical recording of Neurodiagnostic procedures requires the technologist to exercise a significant degree of independent judgment, technical troubleshooting and communication with all members of the healthcare team, patient and family.
