Sat, 11/20/2021 - 19:19 Anonymous The New Firewall Forward is seeking an Engine Overhaul Technician to perform routine and non-routine production duties, assemble piston engines (Continental /Lycoming), and engine components. The assembler is detailed oriented, responsible for the throughput and quality of the product which is measured by our high standards, the manufacturer, and Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.

Requirements:

* A P minimum, IA certificate preferred

* Minimum of 4 years hands-on aircraft maintenance; experience in GA aircraft is a requirement

* Ability to read blueprints / technical publications

* Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated PartsCatalogs Structural Repair Manuals

* Knowledge of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives

* Magnaflux experience - a plus, not a requirement

* Experience with Starters, Magnetos, Alternators, Turbo(s), Wastegates, Controllers - a plus, not a requirement

* Must have own tools to complete the job assigned / Specialty tools on premises

* Ability to communicate well

* No limitations on working in confined spaces

* Capability of lifting 50 pounds (minimum)

* No drug or alcohol convictions within the last 3 years

* Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors

* Must be willing to work any shift

* Must be willing to work overtime (as requested)

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site

* Must have valid driver's license

* Must be able pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
