Engineer, Associate - Curtiss-Wright Corporation : Job Details

Perform technical analysis in the non-met department, with a focus on quality assurance, R&D, material identification and failure analysis for industrial clients. Organize projects for standardized testing and develop test plans, and schedules for special projects. Conduct materials evaluations of non-metallic material, DMA, TMA, abrasion testing and various other testing. Prepare and review reports to ensure quality. Analyze samples using a variety of analytical techniques including the use of a broad spectrum of instrumentation and/or specialty area testing disciplines. Train, monitor, and coordinate assigned activities of other laboratory personnel in the areas of test set up, sample preparation and date collection to ensure that IMR's quality and safety standards are met. Review work, distribute incoming jobs, and assure work completion in a high quality and timely manner.
