Job Description :
Specific Job Functions:* Receive and respond to maintenance calls in the hotel from guests and other departments.* Troubleshoot and repair any equipment in hotel rooms.* Operate power and hand tools to complete job assignments in a timely manner.* Communicate with guests in a professional manner regarding work requests.* Read and comprehend blueprints to understand the layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipment.* Interact with co-workers to provide guest services in a coordinated manner.* Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.Qualifications:* A minimum of five years' experience performing hotel guest room maintenance required.* Previous experience in a similar position at a five-diamond resort with at least 1,000 guest rooms preferred.* At least five years' experience working with basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC components required.* Excellent customer service skills a must.* Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints.* Professional appearance and demeanor a must.* General knowledge of TV/Wifi components to be able to assist guests.* 5+ years' experience working with commercial ice machines from install, troubleshooting and proper procedures per manufacturer recommend PM. EPA certified a plus.* Ability to operate 100' + drain cleaner for tower plumbing
