Insight Global is looking for an Engineer I to join a large ship building company in Marinette WI. They will be sitting on the design team focused on piping work. They will be responsible for navigating and reading models, doing audits for the vendor information so they can do tasking for products that are derived from functional and detail design. They will reconcile customer comments and conflicts against models and drawings by submitting comments to the government. Required Skills & ExperienceEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's Degree (4 Year Degree) in field of competence (or equivalent) or High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of equivalent experience. * 2 years of experience of increasing responsibility in the engineering field of competence. Nice to Have Skills & Experience* Supervisory experience desired.* Shipbuilding/maritime background- IF NOT SHIPBUILDING, ANY CONSTRUCTION DESIGN LIKE CIVIL ENGINEERING, BUILDLING DESIGN, PLANT DESIGN would work. * Experience using Ship Constructor Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
