Soltesz, Inc. has a full time position for a Site / Civil Engineer III in our Lanham, MD office, who likes working with skilled professionals in a team oriented environment. Full Time This position performs a variety of civil engineering design functions in support of a variety of major projects inthe region. The candidate must be career driven, technologically savvy, and able to adapt to a wide variety of project types and sizes.The work required by the Engineer III is diverse ranging from general site / civil engineering duties to technical work that requires strong capabilities in MicroStation / AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Adobe Acrobat. Experience in software programs which may include, but not limited to: TR-55, TR-20, HEC-RAS, XP-SWM, Hydroflow, KY-Pipe, WaterCad is preferred, but not required.Previous design experience with site / civil projects in either Prince George's County, Charles County or Montgomery County, Maryland is preferred.Job RequirementsBS degree in Civil Engineering3-6 years of progressive experience directly related to site / civil engineering design and construction of land development projects in the Washington DC Metro area, specific experience in Prince George's County is a plus.Demonstrated ability to meet project and client deadlines.Works efficiently to meet project budgets.Prepares graphics, exhibits, and site / civil construction plans.Communicates effectively with coworkers, sub consultants, clients, and regulatory agencies.Composes technical design reports, memorandums and other written communication such as email.Ability to mentor and train other civil engineering design staff.#J-18808-Ljbffr
