Grow. with us.To save time applying, Toyota does not offer sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for this position at this time.Who We're Looking ForToyota's TMNA Paint Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer.The primary responsibility of this role is to lead new model activity in Paint SE (Simultaneous Engineering) function as liaison between design and manufacturing projects throughout all Toyota's North American Paint Manufacturing Shops.Reporting to the Manager, the person in this role will support the Paint Engineering department's objective to provide new model processes to manufacturing facilities that meet Paint Standard, Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost.What You'll Be Doing Manage and Lead Paint SE New Model projects, develop new model Paint SE OP, create design phase reports to management team, develop final SE H/O document to Regional and NAMC Pilot teamsLead vehicle structure reviews, process and equipment design, rapid prototyping, one voice activities with NAMC and DesignerLead and responsible for multiple new model change and 3D Print. Included 3D scan, 3D designs, prototype confirmation, troubleshooting, and as build drawingSupport SE group to develop and update Paint SE standard check sheet, shikumi, BMC, feedback from other projects to continue improve Paint SE quality, safety, productivity, and cost.Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling and design, AutoCad, CatiaOverall project schedule planning/maintenanceCoordinating TMNA PE & NAMC resources to complete planning studiesDeveloping planning standardsJapan and PEMC travel as part of project activityWhat You Bring Bachelor of Science degree (or higher) in Engineering or related degreeTMNA Paint PE Engineer or Paint Seibi Project experience2+ Years of experience in new model projectAbility to work weekends, holiday periods and shutdowns to support projects.Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Power-Point, Word, Outlook)Added Bonus If You Have Project management3+ years of Automotive experience2+ Years in Catia for SE data analysisWhat We'll BringDuring your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities.
