CAS Consulting and Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering Associate to join our dynamic team at a well-established civil engineering firm in Austin, TX. The successful candidate will have a strong educational background, a proven track record with at least 3 years of experience, and a passion for contributing to innovative civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with licensed engineers to plan, analyze, and design projects for municipalities across Central Texas, with a focus on markets in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas.
  • Utilize technical expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic/2D computer modeling to contribute to the success of stormwater and watershed management projects, stream restoration initiatives, and roadway drainage design projects.
  • Develop design calculations, cost estimates, and construction drawings and specifications with attention to detail and adherence to project timelines.
  • Engage in technical work and project management to ensure the successful execution of assigned projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
  • FE/EIT Certification is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic/2D computer modeling.
  • Experience in preparing design calculations, cost estimates, and construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
