ENGINEERING LAB MANAGER - Manufacturing - GPAC : Job Details

Job DescriptionWe are currently working with an Electronics manufacturer in Nassau County is seeking a qualified Engineering Lab Manager who will support the assembly/alignment/testing of RF/Microwave electronic component assemblies starting with PC sub-assemblies to modules to system integration. Responsibilities: Generation of in-process test procedures/data sheets for PCAs, modules, and top-level system testing. Design and creation of system interface test fixturing. Review of customer performance specifications (EQ spec) and customer-supplied documentation, including top-level system test requirements including Thermal Cycling, Thermal Vacuum, Vibration, Shock, and EMI testing. Generation of engineering-required documentation such as failure reports ( if required), Discrepant Material Reports (DMR), and Recovery Test Plans. Test support for engineers, technicians, and engineering associates. Technical understanding of Passive designs and Active designs. Must have familiarity with EEE parts selection, including characterization/evaluation, screening, traceability, and derating requirements for space applications including radiation. Education & Required Skills: The candidate must possess a BSEE, a 10-year Engineering background, working Product Lifecycle Management system. The salary range is $125-150k This position is on-site.
