The EM will have the responsibility of designing, developing, testing, and supporting new and existing products and assemblies from inception through end of life. This position is critical to support current priorities and support the future growth of the company.The Engineering Manager will successfully deliver engineering activities and work-package(s) on time, within cost and must meet high quality standards across all engineering aspects. The EM shall provide engineering leadership to multi-discipline project teams.Nationality Requirements Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.Job Description
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for initial product design through final delivery for new and existing products.
  • Manage, coach, and lead multi-disciplined work teams. Provide individualized team member training and career development support that is aligned with the company's business strategy and program requirements.
  • Support BD and the Program Management Office (PMO) by providing technical inputs and quotes during the proposal process.
  • Conduct personnel interviews and reviews as required.
  • Partner with BD, Operations, PMO, Quality and other functional groups to support program execution and delivery of all products and assemblies.
Required:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an engineering leadership role, responsible for people management, training, development and performance evaluations.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering for manufacturability, ideally in an aerospace or defense environment.
  • Knowledge of and involvement in government bids and proposal, selection process.
  • Experience providing technical solutions to customers.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent, or suitable experience gained in previous Engineering roles.
Any additional requirements/particular aptitude/skill required:
  • Eligible to obtain US security clearance to Secret level.
  • Driver's license.
  • Travel to alternative locations in the US and abroad to undertake occasional off-site activities is required.
