• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Drive the development and implementation of engineering strategies aligned with Cobalt AI's goals.
• Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality product releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement and maintain best practices for software development, code review, and testing.
• Actively participate in the recruitment process to build and grow a talented engineering team.
• Facilitate open communication within the team and act as a liaison between engineering and upper management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase team efficiency.
• Provide regular performance feedback and support the professional development of team members.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in full-stack development.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineering talent.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
