Job Description :
The role involves:
- Project Feasibility: Analyzing technology and market demand to assess project feasibility.
- Product Development: Leading research and development for new products and enhancements of existing designs.
- Team Management: Organizing and managing the engineering team for product development and support.
- Technical Support: Providing assistance to production teams regarding tooling and fixtures.
- Strategic Initiatives: Identifying new product initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
- Administrative Duties: Writing reports, approving budgets, and managing materials purchases.
- Policy Development: Establishing and enforcing engineering policies and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Participating in projects aimed at enhancing processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Budget Management: Preparing and overseeing the engineering department's budget.
- Future Strategy: Designing strategies for development projects in line with company objectives.

Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Design Engineering.
- Experience: Over 5 years leading engineering teams, with familiarity in Product Life Cycle Management.
- Knowledge of engineering principles related to structural analysis, failure modes, design principles, metallurgy, and manufacturing to guide design and analysis tasks.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering principles, SolidWorks 3D CAD, and knowledge of DFA/DFM.
- Project Management: Experience in managing projects is advantageous.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills. A customer-first attitude with integrity and accountability is essential.
