Build Your Career with Ashley!Engineering Sample MakerWhat Will You Do?The Product Engineer will take product engineering ownership of a furniture product throughout the entire lifecycle of the item from GO status to discontinuation. The Product Engineer takes the design concept and completes engineering drawings, mock-ups of the product, the initiation of Engineering Introduction Order (EIO), Bill of Material (BOM) structures, Customer Service data, Product knowledge information, first production and all cost reduction methods throughout product lifecycle. This position is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all engineering data. This position is accountable for meeting margin, quality and efficiency goals of product through introduction of said product. He/She will assist in maintaining or improving those goals throughout the product lifecycle.What Do You Need?•Associate Degree in the Engineering field, Required Experience: •One year experience in Engineering related field using 3-D modeling software, Required •One year of part-time internship, preferredWho We AreAt Ashley, we're more than a business...we're family.
