Engineering Team LeadKey Role:Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of mechanical systems. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.Basic Qualifications:8+ years of experience with engineering and the design, prototyping, manufacturing, or testing of mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, thermal, or control systems2+ years of experience with building and fielding systems for military use that encompass thermal or electro-mechanical systems1+ years of experience with people or project leadershipAbility to use a broad range of engineering tools, including SolidWorks, Matlab, Python, MathCad, or LabViewAbility to collaborate with subject matter experts outside of your expertise to provide solutions to complex engineering and technical problemsAbility to support bid and proposal efforts by applying subject matter expertise to estimate levels of effort (LOE) for various disciplines required for a projectAbility to manage project timelines and building project schedules and provide leadership across multiple engineering and technical disciplinesAbility to generate written and oral presentations and conduct briefings to senior-level leadershipSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in EngineeringAdditional Qualifications:Experience with Visio or Microsoft ProjectBachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
