About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English tutor to join our company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and possess strong communication skills to effectively engage people in learning. As an English tutor, you will be responsible for providing personalized instruction to various adult students and proficiency of all levels to help improve their English language skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to asses students' current English language proficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop customized lesson plans and learning materials tailored to the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking skills using a variety of engaging and interactive teaching methods.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them overcome challenges and enhance their English language proficiency
• Monitor student's progress, track their performance, and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the students to support their goals and success.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in English language teaching and incorporate innovative techniques into tutoring sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and feedback to track performance and inform future instruction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
• Proven experience as an English Tutor or teacher, preferably with a diverse range of students.
• Strong command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment.
• Patience, flexibility, and creativity in adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
• Familiarity with language learning technologies and digital tools for online learning
• Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.
• Teaching certification or ESL/EFL qualifications (preferred but not required)
