Job Summary / Basic Function
The Department of English in the College of Arts and Humanities at Pennsylvania Western University is seeking qualified applicants to teach first-year composition courses, introductory literature courses, and/or intermediate writing courses, during the 2022-2023 academic year. All positions are contingent on enrollment. Courses may be taught online and/or face-to-face at the following locations: Clarion campus, Venango (Oil City), Edinboro campus, California campus, and West Penn (Pittsburgh).
Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Candidates for online positions must have experience teaching asynchronously.
Minimum of Education / TrainingRequired Education Summary
Candidates must have a minimum of a master's degree in English, or a closely related field of study.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching first-year writing preferred.
