  • Process applications and re-applications for healthcare providers seeking to enroll with various payers, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • Verify the credentials of healthcare facilities, including licensure, permits, certificates, to meet payer and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with facility liaisons to gather necessary documentation and information for inpatient & outpatient enrollment or re-enrollment processes.
  • Review and maintain provider data in the enrollment database, ensuring all information is current and accurate for billing and claim submission purposes.
  • Coordinate with payers to resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the enrollment process.
  • Provide training and support to new facility liaisons on the enrollment process, documentation requirements, and the use of the enrollment portal.
  • Conduct audits of provider supporting documents (certificates, licenses, permits, etc.) to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and to identify any areas for process
  • improvement.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve enrollment issues promptly
  • All other duties, as needed
Minimum QualificationsA Master's degree in public administration or business administration, or in an equivalent or equally acceptable program, and four (4) years of satisfactory, full-time paid experience in a major governmental agency or large corporation or foundation in management analysis or in operational direction, planning, coordination or control of which two (2) years must have been in a supervisory, administrative or consultative capacity; or2. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of experience as stated in #1 above of which three (3) years must have been in a supervisory, administrative or consultative capacity; or3. A satisfactory equivalent, however, all candidates must possess not less than the two (2) years of supervisory, administrative or consultative experience required. Four (4) years of appropriate general experience may be substituted for a Baccalaureate degree requirement. Appropriate full-time teaching experience in an accredited college or university may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required general experience and appropriate full-time teaching experience in a position of professional rank may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required supervisory, administrative or consultative experience.Department Preferences
  • 3+ years handling sensitive materials
  • 3+ years administrative work
  • Experience with Patient Accounting Practices
  • Experience with NYS Medicaid & Medicare Preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, advanced in Excel
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and issues effectively and simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, research and follow up skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
