JOB TITLE SUMMARY Job Title: Enrollment Representative, Freshman Admissions Division: Enrollment and Marketing Evaluation Group: Staff FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Assistant Director, International and Graduate Enrollment; Director, Undergraduate Enrollment; Director, Adult and Online Enrollment Positions Supervised: N/A Review of applications will begin on March 6th and will continue until the position is filled. The anticipated start date for the successful candidate is March 28th or later. Job Summary The enrollment representative is responsible for assisting students with all aspects of admissions and enrollment. This position recruits students, collects and documents all applications for admission, and organizes financial aid packaging. Essential Job Functions and Performance Indicators The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibility that will be required of positions given this title. Employees may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description. Job Responsibilities and Execution
  • Manages recruitment and admissions processes
  • Assists in managing day-to-day operation of St. Charles and other University-affiliated offices
  • Creates financial award packages for new students in collaboration with Student Financial Services and in accordance with the University's institutional aid policy
  • Represents University admissions at school visits, community events, college fairs, and all other recruitment initiatives
  • Meets recruitment goals and adheres to departmental policies for student outreach
  • Meets with prospective students and families to explain program offerings; completes new student paperwork; reviews admissibility standards; determines all financial aid qualifications/awards; prepares financial aid packages in a timely and professional manner
  • Complies with federal, state, institution, and accreditation policies and procedures
  • Completes routine reports for recruitment, projections, scheduling, and development
  • Maintains accurate records and data on applicants and admitted students
  • Adheres to University policies regarding travel and procurement
  • Makes admissions recommendations based on holistic review of academic profile and extracurricular qualifications
  • Evaluates effectiveness of programs, assesses outcomes, and develops improved programming for the University
Service Excellence
  • Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
  • Models, supports, and holds others accountable to the University's values
Communication, Teamwork, and Collaboration
  • Leads campus tours and student appointments
  • Serves as University liaison for new students, external parties, and all essential University departments
  • Communicates and tracks all correspondence with current and prospective students
  • Fields phone calls and walk-in appointments for all programs
  • Collaborates with all University departments and academic schools to provide superior student service
  • Supports Enrollment Management with student issues and concerns
  • Assists other recruitment divisions to meet departmental needs and goals
Job may require other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in sales or recruitment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience in post-secondary education recruitment preferred
  • Master's degree preferred

  • Knowledge of general office software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) programs
  • Extensive experience with the internet
