The Enrollment Specialist assists families in enrolling their children at Insight PA. This position is dedicated to ensuring newly enrolled students and families feel welcomed, prepared, and compliant on their first day at Insight PA. This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40 hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 8-4 or as defined by the school. - Reviews and approves compliance documents
- Assists families with document completion
- Completes enrollment and onboarding conferences with newly enrolled students and families
- Ensures families feel prepared to start at Insight by providing information and resources prior to the student's first day of school
- Assists with the yearly enrollment confirmation process
- Collaborates with the Registrar, Strong Start Advisor, School Counselor, Student Resource Specialist, LEAP Specialist, and appropriate education teams to ensure students are set up for success on their first day of school
- Sends weekly new starts list to all staff notifying of new enrollees
- Acts as a point of contact for families prior to their first day of school
- Follows families through the entirety of the enrollment process
- Assists with events to promote Insight PA to perspective families
- Assists the Office Administrator with mailings, phone coverage, and physical office presence as needed
- Assists with records tasks as needed
- Visits student homes to collect documentation as needed
- Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no regular supervisory responsibilities. Minimum Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree AND
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum Required Skill Set
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.); Web proficiency
- Ability to navigate multiple online systems and databases
- Experience successfully using search engines (internet) for research projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
- All clearances and background checks as required to work in a Pennsylvania public school
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Special Education documents
- Prior experience with enrollment at a charter school
- PowerSchool experience

- This is a hybrid position and will require some in-office work time, as well as some time working remotely. The noise level in the office is usually moderate (computers, printers, light foot traffic). It is estimated that approximately 75% of the time will be remote work.
- This position will include limited travel and will include limited overnight travel. This is estimated to be less than 20% of the time. Travel will be required for community engagement events, professional development, and state testing administration.
