Job Description :

Our client is seeking a Full-Time Enterprise Applications Administrator to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Houston-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and administer applications to meet business and compliance requirements.
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions, ensuring robust security settings across all platforms to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Customize and optimize application settings to align with HSSE policies, industry standards, and business objectives.
  • Provide technical support by troubleshooting issues and resolving system-related problems efficiently.
  • Collaborate with software vendors for planning and implementing upgrades, patches, and new module deployments.
  • Develop comprehensive user guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support training and change management initiatives.
  • Conduct regular user access reviews and assist with internal audits to maintain compliance.
  • Partner with business users to identify process gaps, propose solutions, and implement process improvements.
  • Resolve production issues through IT Service Management (ITSM) tools by managing incidents, service requests, and user inquiries.
  • Conduct unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that system updates meet business requirements.
  • Facilitate collaboration with multiple business units in a dynamic, service-oriented environment.
  • Support the integration of applications with other internal and external systems.
  • Participate in projects and change management activities, including requirements gathering, planning, and execution.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required to support evolving business needs.
  • Ensure continuous availability of systems and support business continuity by responding to critical issues 24/7.
  • Liaise with vendors regarding software enhancements and patches to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Draft application-specific administrative SOPs to ensure consistent practices and procedures.
  • Offer strategic technical guidance to ensure systems are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, and build strong business and technology relationships.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks, demonstrate resilience under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security practices when handling sensitive data.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of system architectures, configurations, and processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-10 years of experience managing, configuring, and administering software applications.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Experience applications, incident management, environmental monitoring, and compliance tracking.
  • Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry or other high-risk industrial environments is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in business process analysis, problem-solving, and the ability to quickly identify and implement solutions.
  • Experience working in team-oriented environments, partnering with management and staff to achieve business goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands in a changing environment.
  • Advanced business and systems analysis skills to support application development and enhancements.
  • Solid understanding of operational processes within an organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Customer-focused, adaptable to ongoing changes, and committed to delivering high-quality support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Industry experience in Oil & Gas or similar high-risk sectors is strongly preferred.
