The ideal candidate is expected to exhibit strong acumen in business development and a minimum of 8 years of pertinent legal expertise.

Responsibilities:
  • Cultivation of substantial revenue streams via client acquisition and retention in the field of entertainment law.
  • Offering legal guidance and representation to a diverse clientele within the entertainment industry, including actors, musicians, producers, and studios.
  • Negotiating and crafting an extensive array of entertainment-centric contracts, such as talent agreements, licensing pacts, and production contracts.
  • Remaining attuned to industry dynamics, legal developments, and shifts in entertainment law.
  • Effective team management and collaboration across different practice areas within the firm.
  • Cultivating a robust professional network within the entertainment industry and active participation in pertinent industry events and associations.
  • Providing strategic counsel to clients on various legal matters, encompassing intellectual property, copyright, and trademark issues.
  • Adeptly handling intricate negotiations and settlements, including dispute resolution and litigation when necessary.
  • Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • A minimum of 8 years of legal experience, with a substantial emphasis on entertainment law.
  • A proven track record of generating portable revenue exceeding $200,000.
  • Exceptional prowess in business development, client relationship management, negotiation, communication, and leadership.
  • An intricate understanding of entertainment industry practices and regulations.
  • Adept organizational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in legal research and contract drafting.
  • Commitment to ethical and professional conduct in accordance with industry standards.
