Entry Assembler - Cashco : Job Details

Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are looking for an Entry Level Assembler, who will be responsible for efficiently assembling quality production parts. This full-time position is based out of Cashco, Inc. headquarters in Ellsworth, KS. 1st shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities:

• Using hand tools, power tools, or machinery to assemble component parts for Cashco products.
• Inspecting and testing assembled products for quality and accuracy.
• Identifying and reporting any defects or issues at any given time.
• Following safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicating with other employees and supervisors as necessary.
• Effectively meeting production goals in a timely manner.
• Trouble shooting issues that arise during the assembly process and help implement solutions to ensure a smooth workflow.
• May be responsible for training new employees and providing guidance to less experienced assemblers.

RequirementsEducation:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience and Skills:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks daily.
• Must have the ability to read blueprints and understand the assembly process.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must have a technical aptitude and understand mechanical principles.
• Must be extremely reliable and dependable.
• Must be a team player.

Continuous movement of parts weighing up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations are required in all positions. Education and experience will determine beginning wage.
