Job Title: Accounts Payable ClerkJob Description
We are searching for a motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. The primary responsibilities include obtaining, sorting, checking, and recording information pertaining to accounts payable for use in maintaining accounting records.
Responsibilities
+ Check and approve all vouchers for payment.
+ Prepare invoice deduction notices, as necessary.
+ Audit freight bills against freight manifests.
+ Answer all vendor inquiries.
+ Prepare accounts payable checks.
+ Maintain all accounts payable checks.
+ Prepare analysis of accounts, as required.
+ Process all expense reports and post for payment.
+ Assist in monthly closings.
+ Review purchase orders, delivery slips, invoices, and check information for accuracy.
+ Review, verify, and stamp invoices, stubs, or purchase orders and files.
+ Collect, retrieve, or deliver mail or inter-office memoranda to other departments.
+ Check computer for delinquent accounts or to trace or locate missing checks or statements.
+ Enter and post information into the computer, such as new ingredient vendors or supplies.
+ Update vendor information in the computer.
+ Check, sort, and stuff envelopes.
+ Confer with other departments to locate missing receipts or to reclassify information that is not clearly discernible.
+ Answer telephone and take messages from vendors pertaining to check disbursements or related information.
+ Assist with accounts receivable as necessary.
+ Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
+ Initiate timely weekly check runs and transfer payments.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with accounts payable, invoice processing, invoicing, and coding.
+ Proficiency in three-way matching and coding.
+ 6+ months of total AP processing experience with three-way match and coding.
+ Experience with an ERP system (migrating from AS400 to Oracle Enterprise 1 (E-1)).
+ Proficiency in Excel, particularly with pivot tables or VLOOKUPs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50
