• Pattison Company will fund your CDL Class A training.
• Upon completing the training, you'll begin your career as a CDL Class A Truck Driver at Pattison Company.
• To benefit from full sponsorship, you will be required to sign a 2-year employment agreement starting upon CDL program completion.
• If you leave before 2 years, you will be responsible for prorated repayment of training costs.

Program Entry RequirementsCandidates must: • Be at least 24 years old. • Obtain a CDL Permit before starting at Pattison Company. • Have a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years). • Obtain a valid DOT Medical Card and pass all DOT requirements and drug tests.Truck Driver Job DescriptionAfter completing the training, your responsibilities as a Class A CDL Truck Driver will include:

• Operate automatic tarps and doors.
• Drive automatic or manual transmission trucks.
• Clean and maintain assigned equipment.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections.
• Maintain logbooks and electronic if necessary
• Manage and track hours to ensure DOT compliance.
• Operate trucks for 12-hour shifts with scheduled breaks.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards.

• Cross-training with the mine department as needed.

Qualifications & RequirementsSuccessful candidates must:

• Have proficient English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Be capable of:
  • Working up to 12-hour shifts.
  • Sitting for up to 6 hours at a time.
  • Wearing a half-mask respirator for up to 12 hours.
  • Working safely and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Working any assigned shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain high safety standards for self and others.
• Have strong teamwork and communication skills.

Education & Work Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Priority given to applicants with previous related experience.

Certifications & Licenses

• MSHA Part 48 certification required (Training available on-site).
• Valid driver's license required for all Pattison employees.
