Entry Level Diesel Technician Location: Lincoln, AL Shift: 3rd Shift Schedule: FULLTIME; Sunday-Thursday, 11 p.m.-7:30 a.m. Job overview: Start your shop career as an Entry Level Diesel Technician in Lincoln. Handle routine preventative maintenance on company tractors. Complete component replacements and troubleshooting. Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair minor tractor electrical systems. Complete routine rebuilds and replacements. Use maintenance software to create and track work orders. Communicate status updates with internal customers. Utilize forklifts and company vehicles to pick up, load and unload parts from vendors, dealers and suppliers. Assist with general shop duties, including cleaning, stocking, managing inventory and tracking repairs. Skills and qualifications: High school diploma/GED. Experience with computer systems. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire. Pay and benefits: Additional $1.50 per hour on second and third shift.
