Entry Level Field Service - Goettfert Rock Hill : Job Details

Location: Rock Hill, SC - Overnight travel expected to be: ~75%

Pay Range: Depends on experience

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

We perform preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of electromechanical equipment inside large companies. The equipment includes measurement instruments in laboratories and online process control units in production. With over 50 years of experience servicing companies such as Exxon, Procter & Gamble and DOW Chemicals, all across the US, Canada and Mexico, our fully certified technicians provide our customers with support and repair solutions designed to extend the life of their equipment, reducing down time while keeping their measurement instruments calibrated to ASTM and ISO standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures on equipment and then providing a solution

• Performing maintenance on equipment and follow applicable guidelines

• Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair machines

• Respond to on-site preventative maintenance service calls to calibrate working machines

• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisor, and coworkers

• Keep meticulous reporting protocols

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical College or hands on experience working on equipment/cars

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and must be eligible for a passport

• Must pass repeated background checks, random and scheduled drug testing

Nice to have:

• Ability to read schematics
• Ability to work with a multi meter
• Experience to install software and work/troubleshoot a PC
