Job Overview: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Entry-Level HR Assistant to join our HR team in Auburn, AL. This role will provide critical support to the HR department, handling various administrative tasks while ensuring smooth operations as the company expands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruiting Support: Post job ads, assist in recruiting efforts, screen resumes and applications, coordinate interviews, assist with candidate communications, and manage the drug screen process for new hires.
- Onboarding & New Hires: Assist with new hire onboarding, prepare materials, conduct orientation, and manage new hire paperwork, including I-9 verification and E-verify submissions.
- Compliance & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate employee records, ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, and track and update I-9 records.
- Daily HR Operations: Provide administrative support to the HR Director, assist in organizing HR events such as new hire orientations and benefits enrollments, and help prepare and maintain HR reports and documentation.
- General HR Assistance: Respond to employee inquiries, provide general HR support, and manage and update internal HR documentation as necessary.
