Spectrolab's state-of-the-art space solar cells and panels power satellites in Earth's orbit, as well as the International Space Station. Position Responsibilities:
- Performs simple production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations
- Performs the processes necessary for the fabrication and production of Solar Cells, including Photolithography, Cap Etch/Window Clean, Thinning, Lift-Off, Evaporation, Sinter, Saw-Dice, Lot Code, electrical testing, microscope inspection and Silicon Diodes.
- Performs the processes necessary for growth of semiconductors, including operation of MOCVD vacuum system, Metal Organic material handling and X-Ray Diffraction.
- Complete knowledge of shop processes to include Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): - Experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Basic computer experience and competency
- Capable of lifting 20lbs or more on a frequent basis
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Experience using an Optical Microscope
