Entry Level Water Mitigation Technicians - Teasdale Fenton Cleaning and Property Restoration : Job Details

Description Teasdale Fenton Cleaning & Property Restoration is a family-owned company that has been serving Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus for almost 200 years. We provide cleaning, mitigation and disaster reconstruction services for commercial and residential customers. Often, but not always, we are coming out to serve customers after something bad happens. Our technicians go to work knowing they are going to be making someone's day better either helping them out of a jam or helping them make their homes cleaner and healthier. Because of the growth of our Columbus office, we are looking for individual who are interested learning the trade of Water Mitigation service. Individuals who want their work to have meaning and purpose. In our case, serving others when they need help dealing with problems ranging from water line backups to broken water pipes. In other words, getting rid of water when it is somewhere it does not belong. Requirements Experience in Water Mitigation is great but not required. Same for IICRC certifications. If you have them great, let us know. If not, you can work towards taking those trainings to test for those certifications.

• Ability to work in standing water and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift fans, dehumidifiers and other water mitigation related equipment... at least 50 lbs. consistently, 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Follow company health and safety regulations
• Maintain timely and effective communication with lead technicians and manager.
• Clearly and professionally communicate with customers
• Willingness to be cross trained to perform other company services, like carpet cleaning.
• Must pass pre-employment process including criminal background check, MVR driving check, and drug screen
