Environment, Health and Safety Manager - IDR : Job Details

Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Sr EHS Manager:

• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive EHS procedures, programs, and processes in alignment with regulatory and company requirements
• Lead and create synergies for environmental, safety, and health matters across the site, managing EHS professionals
• Conduct EHS audits/inspections, and lead safety/security projects based on identified budget to address risk reduction and compliance assurance
• Oversee contractor safety, ensuring all external partners adhere to our client's EHS standards
• Lead incident investigations, develop injury prevention plans, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Required Skills for Sr EHS Manager:

• Minimum of 10 years of EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• At least 7 years in a leadership/management role
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Safety, Engineering, or a similar field
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Experience in developing and managing EHS programs, handling worker's compensation claims, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
