Your Role as an Assistant Project Manager: As an Assistant Project Manager at Apex, you will play a pivotal role in various environmental projects, contributing to the firm's mission of environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance. *Must reside in Austin, TX - No relo*

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of stormwater controls at construction sites and commercial facilities.
• Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and contribute to Phase II ESAs.
• Utilize your background in earth sciences for wetland delineations and habitat assessments.
• Collect and analyze soil, water, air, and building material samples.
• Interpret data and input findings into comprehensive reports.
• Actively pursue career growth and development opportunities within the firm.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Experience in environmental field sampling and data collection.
• Strong technical writing skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Commitment to safety practices; 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience in light construction is advantageous.
• Proficiency in data management and report preparation.
• Familiarity with editing Phase I and II ESAs is desirable.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
