Environmental Geologist/Scientist/Engineer - Various Levels - Atlas Geosciences NW : Job Details

Atlas Geosciences NW, a growing environmental consulting firm, is seeking an environmental geologist/scientist/engineer for one of our offices in Puyallup/Tacoma, Issaquah, or Olympia, or remotely in the Portland/Vancouver area. This is a full-time salary position performing and/or overseeing soil, groundwater and/or soil vapor investigations, assisting with or managing remediation projects, and various research, report writing, and other office tasks. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering and/or other relevant science.

The ideal candidate would have at least 6 years of direct environmental consulting experience (above and beyond advanced degree or other institutional research work). No mudlogging resumes, please. Experience with and proficiency at technical report writing is required. 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is preferred. WA UST Site Assessor certification is preferred.
