Environmental Health Safety Compliance - CONF : Job Details

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior EHS&S Compliance Consultant to join our team. This critical role will address compliance gaps and support our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of environmental, health, safety, and sustainability (EHS&S) regulations. You will play an instrumental role in ensuring regulatory adherence, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of safety and sustainability across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS&S regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) through audits, corrective actions, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Manage environmental permits (air, water, waste) and prepare necessary regulatory reports.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement preventive actions to mitigate risks.
• Develop and deliver EHS&S training programs for employees at all levels.
• Collaborate with the EHS&S Manager and other departments to integrate compliance into operations.
• Prepare and lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and conduct PSM audits.
• Develop and deliver emergency response training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• 6+ years of EHS&S compliance experience, preferably in chemical or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and regulatory processes.
• Proven expertise in OSHA, EPA, and state-specific regulations.
• Ability to commit to a contract role for up to one year and work on-site near Olympia, WA.
