Position: HSE site ManagerDivision: IMILocation: Jacksonville, Florida Purpose:As a member of the management committee of the Jacksonville site, the HSE manager will have the main mission of implementing and monitoring the Safety, Health and Environment policy of the Jacksonville site.Responsibilities:
- Manage the site's HSE department and as such ensure the coordination of HSE staff and guide all site staff on HSE topics.
- Establish HSE budgets and monitor budget performance.
- Develop and enforce the HSE policy. Define and implement an HSE management system that covers the protection of personnel, respect for the environment and the preservation of equipment and installations. Contribute to improving performance by combining HSE considerations and profitability of investments.
- Initiate, facilitate and participate in investigations and analyzes of accidents and incidents. Ensure the implementation of the analysis and management of risks related to site activities. Propose the measures and means to be implemented to minimize the risks and impacts of the activities.
- Carry out a permanent watch on regulations and legislation in terms of safety and the environment. Ensure that all activities are carried out in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations and that no activity is undertaken without first obtaining the required official authorizations. Make the teams aware of the approach and respect for HSE procedures and values and establish a Safety Culture within the establishment.
- Carry out audits based on internal or external standards and develop HSE audit/inspection plans.
- Ensure the implementation of crisis management systems, their updating, their communication and the preparation of the personnel concerned. Lead the implementation of an environmental management system (EMS) within the company in accordance with the regulations with a view to improving its environmental performance (reduction of greenhouse gas emissions greenhouse, water and energy consumption).
Requirements:Bachelors Degree, with a focus on HSE specialization, or at least 10 years of experience in the industry in similar functions.
