Environmental Health Safety Specialist - LHH : Job Details

LHH Recruitment Solutions is thrilled to partner with a dynamic company in Portland, OR, to find a passionate Health and Safety Specialist. This is a 100% onsite role where you'll have the chance to work with a growing and stable company.

Your Mission:

• Ensure material safety data sheets are always up-to-date and accurate.
• Develop innovative health and safety procedures for both manufacturing and corporate offices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to meet and exceed safety standards.
• Take charge of compliance, reports, and records related to hazardous waste and pollutants.
• Lead regular training sessions to ensure everyone is up to speed with OSHA regulations.
• Conduct thorough investigations using root cause analysis and develop actionable plans.

What You Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in a safety role within the manufacturing industry.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in training staff on safety procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.

What You'll Receive:

• Competitive compensation ranging from $80K to $100K, depending on experience.
• Day shift hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
