The Role:
We're seeking an exceptional EHS Safety Consultant to join our elite team, based out of Maryland, with extensive travel across Maryland and the surrounding states. This high-impact role is perfect for a visionary leader passionate about transforming safety and compliance in the automotive industry. You'll be a trusted advisor, ensuring our clients meet and exceed regulatory standards while fostering a safety and operational excellence culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead comprehensive EHS audits and risk assessments for automotive dealerships and collision facilities, ensuring adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other critical regulatory frameworks
• Provide strategic occupational health and safety guidance, identifying potential hazards, and driving actionable, innovative solutions to mitigate risks
• Serve as a subject matter expert, delivering tailored consulting services and influencing client decision-making at the executive level
• Design and conduct advanced EHS compliance training programs to elevate safety awareness and embed a proactive safety culture
• Leverage cutting-edge technology and data analytics to generate insightful reports, perform statistical analyses, and recommend best-in-class practices
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a strategic partner to address unique EHS challenges
What We're Looking For:
• Advanced degree (Bachelor's or higher) in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field (preferred/not required)
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to utilize advanced EHS technologies and software for auditing, reporting, and compliance management
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time within the Carolinas, with flexibility to adapt to client needs
