Environmental Health Specialist- Food & Lodging - Harnett County, NC : Job Details

This Environmental Health Specialist position will primarily be involved in the promotion of public health through education, surveillance, consultation, inspection and enforcement of state, local and federal health laws and regulations with respect to food and lodging establishments, camps, swimming pools, tattoo artists, child care centers, residential care facilities, schools and other regulated facilities. This position will also conduct plan review and complaint investigations. The EHS will also be responsible for environmental health investigations of lead hazards associated with lead poisoned children or lead hazards in facilities used by children under the age of six.
