The role of the Assistant Project Manager will be to contribute to project oversight and technical expertise in the general field of natural resources, NEPA documentation and USACE permitting, site assessments, and related services for the central and south Texas regions. Business development skills are preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage project assignments of varying complexity and size;
- Provide technical services and oversight as required by the project.
- Interact with clients, regulatory agencies and sub-consultants to achieve project objectives.
- Coordinate and participate in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
- Draft professional service agreements.
- Mentor technical staff to assist in training and development.
- Identify new business opportunities for the firm.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in field(s) of practice. Management coursework and/or MBA a plus.
- Section 404 and multi-agency permitting.
- NEPA assessments and reporting.
- Threatened and endangered species compliance.
- Oil and Gas and/or municipality work experience.
- Marketing and business development
