Arecon Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Scientist to support air quality monitoring, environmental compliance, and regulatory reporting. If you have a strong background in environmental science, data analysis, and technical report writing, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact!

Air Quality Monitoring Responsibilities:

As part of our Community Air Monitoring Plan (CAMP) efforts, you will:

  • Sensor Installation and Maintenance – Install and maintain air quality monitoring equipment, perform calibration checks, and ensure data quality assurance.
  • Data Collection and Analysis – Regularly collect air quality data from sensors, analyze results using statistical methods, and interpret trends.
  • Client Engagement – Communicate air quality data to the client through reports and onsite meetings.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure air monitoring activities comply with relevant environmental regulations and standards.
  • Reporting and Documentation – Prepare detailed reports summarizing air quality monitoring results, including data analysis and recommendations.
  • Environmental Fieldwork & Reporting:

    In addition to air monitoring, you will also contribute to environmental investigations and regulatory reporting, including:

  • Soil and Groundwater Sampling – Conduct field sampling to assess contamination levels and environmental impact.
  • Waste Management – Prepare manifests for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • Environmental Plans & Compliance Documents – Assist in developing Sampling Analysis Plans (SAP), Material Management Plans (MMP), and Health & Safety Plans (HASP) to support environmental projects.
  • Who We're Looking For:
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a STEM related field
  • Experience with data collection and analysis
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to oversee environmental monitoring initiatives.
  • Located in or willing to work in North Jersey / New York Metro Area.
