If moved to the next step in the process,we will match you with openings that best fit your credentials, but encourageyou to express any areas of interest._**BASE PAY:*** Compensation Grade:**** $18.98 - $27.52****SIGN-ON BONUS AND SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS:***** External hires are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus with 2-year employment commitment for full time positions, prorated for part time.* We offer shift differentials ranging from $1-$4hr. for various shifts.**GENERAL SUMMARY:**The Environmental Service Worker II cleans and services patient, public,clinical and administrative areas maintaining an attractive appearance in allareas. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies around the Medical Center.Performs a variety of Environmental Services duties to maintain the MedicalCenter in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition and provides the generalmaintenance to accomplish moves with use of manual and electrical tools. Theindividual responds to emergencies in regards to Medical Center operations,fire safety, utility failure, etc. when directed to do so.**QUALIFICATIONS:**1. Ability to read labels and directions is required.2. Personal vehicle for on the job transportation may be required for someassignments.3. Ability to do basic math sufficiently enough to mix chemicals is required.4. High School diploma or G.E.D. is required or demonstrated ability toqualify for #1 and #3 above.5. Completion of necessary orientation to Environmental Service Worker Irequired.6. Demonstrates knowledge and maintains department standard of work asEnvironmental Service Worker I by passing QA scores of 95% required.7. Ability to use various size ladders required.8. Valid drivers license preferred.9. Demonstrated ability to work independently with littledirectionsupervision to complete task required.10. Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers with an open line ofcommunication required.As applicable, the individual has trainingcompetency in attending to thespecial needs andor behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients forwhich care is being provided.
