Environmental Services Attendant - Northern Inyo Healthcare District : Job Details

The Environmental Services staff is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital on the assigned shift, and for the completion of any tasks necessary to ensure this cleanliness. Job Relationships:Directly responsible to: Environmental Services Manager Staff supervised: none Works closely with hospital district leadership and departments as well as internal and external customers. Occupational Hazards:Works in all areas of the hospital. Routinely exposed to blood and blood products, as well as other body fluids and excretions, and patients in varying stages of infectious states. Required to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays. Exposed to extended periods of moderate to heavy stress.
