Environmental Services Technician - Susquehanna University : Job Details

Provides daily cleaning tasks in assigned areas, to ensure a clean and safe environment for students and staff to live, work, and study. This position is defined as a non-exempt position under FLSA regulations. Specific Responsibilities Maintain all assigned offices, public areas, classrooms, and hallways in a clean, neat, and orderly condition. Wash chalkboards; gather and clean dirty erasers; sweep and wet mop floors as assigned; remove all waste using prescribed methods; wash window interiors as needed and exteriors within reach using stepladder. Vacuum carpet, shampoo carpet and clean furniture upholstery periodically using extraction machines. Wash, polish, vacuum, and dust furniture, brass fixtures, windowsills, baseboards, file cabinets, etc. using prescribed methods and materials. Sweep and wet mop all assigned restrooms in residence halls, classroom buildings, and office buildings.
